International Centre for Technological Innovations promotes Women's Renewable Energy Enterprises by providing them required assistance, resources and capacity building. Supporting Women's Renewable Energy Enterprises is an effective way of employment generation for rural and urban poor women through micro energy-entrepreneurship, providing electricity to off-grid rural households and businesses, and providing better livelihood and studying opportunities through increased working hours in evening. We assist in developing bankable business plans, technical services, facilitating, linkages with financial institutions, establishing networks of energy producers, equipment suppliers, distributors, consumers, and availing benefits under various programmes and schemes of governments.

Village Electrification
There are many villages in India that do not have access to grid electricity due to their remoteness and geographical constraints. Education, health, and economic development are at a standstill in such villages due to energy poverty. The bright side to this challenge is opportunity to leapfrog to design a new energy future using renewable energy mini-grids. Through funds raised via corporate social responsibility and individual donations ICTI is electrifying rural villages in Western Ghats, Bihar and Odisha.
Seed Fund
ICTI provides grants and soft loans to Community-Owned Renewable Energy initiatives and Women's Renewable Energy Enterprises. We support renewable energy projects which provide economic and social benefits to the community. Models like rent-to-own, fee-for-service, pay-as-you-go, etc are encouraged. Funding is also provided to Farmer Producer Organisations for renewable energy projects in agriculture and food processing.
